You will own the properties outright.  However, you do have choices as to how you own.

Personal use & control of property:  In this option you will have 100% access to your units - your home away from home.  Since it is a personal use property you will have to pay the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on the value of the property.  Common area costs are allocated to each owner through the condo association.

Personal use, control & rental of property:  In this option you will have 100% access to your units.  However you may wish to them rent out.  This means you manage the rentals or have the properties professionally managed.  There are tax implications such as GST and reporting rental income. Common areas costs are allocated to each owner through the condo association.

Investment property:  100% Management and control is through Les Suites Mt. Tremblant and Country Inns and Suites Hotels.  You will have access to the property 10% of total annual time (35 days per year ) which will qualify you for an exemption from GST.  Revenues and expenses are prorated based on square footage of the units in the building.
